FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

We provide camperships for youth between the ages of 11-15.

We empower children from under-resourced communities with a life-changing week away at summer camp—because every child deserves to thrive, explore, and have fun. Camp builds life skills, strengthens wellbeing, and creates good memories.

How do I get started?

2

For Families:

The campership application opens in Spring 2027. Please make sure you subscribe to our emails (sign up is at the bottom right corner of this page) and follow our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn for the application launch announcement.

For Supporters:

  • Learn about Our Approach and see how you can Get Involved.

  • Build Empathy through a simulation game.

  • Reference our transparency hub below. Because we are a new nonprofit organization founded in 2026, we have not yet had to file a Form 990. We are committed to financial transparency and will make our first tax filing publicly available as soon as it is completed.

  • Support our work through the Donate page.

What makes you different?

3

Most campership programs are tied to a single camp or religious organization — which means the kids who need options most get the fewest.

We do not run a camp, nor do we represent one. That independence is intentional. It means the kids we serve get access to the full range of summer camp experiences, chosen for fit, not affiliation.

Summer Camp Project is different. We fundraise and build relationships so young people can choose the camp that's right for them, not just the one with strings attached.
